Nicki Minaj Impostor Jailed After Fake Emergency Phone Calls

Nicki Minaj accepts award for Best Hip-Hop Video for 'Anaconda' onstage during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on Aug. 30, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.
A 24-year-old man from Northern Ireland is now facing four months in jail for calling the police while claiming to be Nicki Minaj, according to Belfast Live via NME.

Stephen Brown reportedly called 999 (the overseas version of 911) multiple times claiming to be the rapper. In one call, Brown claimed that two men were making threats to kill him while in another call he claimed there was a ghost in his house, all while pretending to be Minaj.

According to NME, these recent actions were a breach of the ASBO (Anti-Social Behavior Order) previously given to him by the government.

Brown, who was told by a judge that his non-emergency calls put others at risk, was initially sentenced to eight months in jail for the prank, but the sentence has reportedly been appealed and reduced to four months.
